1. Information We Collect
TradeAPEX™ collects the following information:
- Account information: Email address, name, and password (hashed)
- Trading configuration: Asset preferences, strategy settings, risk parameters
- API credentials: Exchange API keys (encrypted with AES-256, never stored in plaintext)
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, session duration
- Trading activity: Signals generated, trades executed, portfolio performance
- Device information: IP address, browser type, operating system
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the TradeAPEX™ platform
- To generate personalized AI trading signals and analysis
- To execute automated trades on connected exchanges (when configured)
- To send service notifications and updates
- To improve our algorithms and platform features
- To comply with legal obligations
3. API Key Security
Your exchange API keys are encrypted using AES-256 encryption before being stored. We never store API keys in plaintext. We never use your API keys to withdraw funds — only to place orders you have authorized through our platform.
We recommend creating API keys with trading permissions only and never enabling withdrawal permissions for keys used with TradeAPEX™.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Anthropic: AI analysis queries are processed through Anthropic's Claude API. See Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com
- Supabase: Authentication and database services
- Payment processors: For subscription billing (we never store payment card data)
- Law enforcement: When required by law or valid legal process
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law. Trading history may be retained for up to 7 years for regulatory compliance purposes.
6. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
- Portability: Request export of your trading data
- Opt-out: Opt out of non-essential communications

7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this may affect platform functionality.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption for sensitive data, HTTPS/TLS for all communications, and regular security reviews. However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
9. Children's Privacy
TradeAPEX™ is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
